Right? If I had a fortune to spend as I wished, I would invest in the effort to find the person who created that image – it wasn’t Bill Watterson – and doing something dreadful to him. I’m certain it was a “him.”
But like most things trollish, the identity of the person who created it are murky at best.

I love peeing Calvin. It’s like a brain twister on the worst of culture with the best.
Twenty years back I made a parody of them for my Teddy comic.
I recall reading somewhere that Bill Watterson hates it.

Bill Watterson made a conscious decision to give up what would have certainly been millions and millions of dollars in royalties by refusing to allow his characters to appear on any form of merchandising whatsoever because he felt that would cheapen his art. Just think about how tempting that would have been for most people in his position. The cut he would have got from T-shirts alone would have made him a rich man many times over.
Now imagine how a person who made that decision must have felt the first time he saw an unauthorized reproduction of his beloved creation peeing on a Chevy logo.

I wonder how long it will be before people just start calling it that peeing kid on windshields?
I remember before Calvin and Hobbes, my piano teacher’s son had a poster of the Oklahoma Sooners pissing on the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Calvin just mass-marketed the logo.
