I would have preferred if the videographer left the shredded bits of cardboard around for the entire three months.

/ shoulda used a time-lapse camera designed for the job. Say, one of these.
Anecdote is not evidence, but I lived with a cat who similarly tore up paper, packages, and cardboard boxes.
