Having Googled it a bit, it seems this is a pretty common rumor about him.
My friend thought this was a Cleveland Mew Mew but it’s actually a Glass Bottom Mew Mew.
If you tilt the table beyond about 19 degrees (give or take), a smart cat will press its anus against the glass and suction itself in place. The only way to remove such a cat is with the gentle application of a very thin spatula.
