Oof I agree with you about troopers, especially here in Ohio, but sheriffs? They can be quite horrid assholes with their fiefdoms

Iā€™d take my local cops (Portland OR), with all their flaws, over some of the bigoted asshole sheriffs in rural Oregon. At least the cops worry about the appearances of their actions.
