There is a pedestal near my home in New Orleans that used to have a statue of the Racist Traitor

At first I envisioned a Mab Segrest statue.

Which would of course be fucking awesome.

I’ve always suggested making a giant bust of a scowling Sherman, but this sounds nicer.

In all fairness, there was a bipartisan movement to compromise on this issue, and just take down half of the statue, leaving only the horse’s asses standing. But I guess they could not agree on which end that was.

Or how about if we just remove the top two-fifths of the statue.
