Check out this chain mail dress made from over 2500 pennies

Gorgeous! Enkwife would look stunning in that (tho we may need a few more pennies here n there… ahem, don’t tell her I said that, as I like all my bits n pieces in their current configuration)
So cool! and by that I imagine it would be pretty chilly as a garment
tho once the pennies are sweat welded to your skin…

Actual armor typically had undergarment layers.

Wonder of I could put some pennies on the smart train tracks and then stitch together certain, uh, portions, er uh pieces of um armor. Lamilar bikini here we come!

I know in some countries where they don’t use pennies anymore, they sell them to you next to the machine, or it is prestocked with copper blanks.

And the best part is that it only costs $26.52! What a bargain!

I came here looking for a pedantic discussion on the type of armour (and was prepared to start it, if it wasn’t already here).

I salute you sir! And @Doctor_Faustus as well

Neat stuff on his site! (Which has not been updated since 2011 - I feel that, brother)

The Scythians were into scale armour. They even had it for their horses.

If weight is a problem, you could make one out of yen (aluminium). Not as pretty, maybe, but you won’t go green.

So, if you spill lemon juice on yourself, could you power an led?
