doesnt that just mean you’ll jaywalk?
what’s the point of using the crosswalk if there’s a chance you might get sprayed, yelled at, or profiled?
just step off in the middle of the block. everything will be fine.

I lived in semi-rural China for ten years. This will not stop pedestrians from blindly wandering into traffic, intentionally or otherwise.

Drivers seem to hate being sprayed with windshield wiper fluid from the car ahead. Seems like a much better deterrent than red light cameras. Or better yet simulated bird doo doo.
There’s plenty of countries that don’t have jaywalking laws. We just don’t walk in front of cars.
