I think the cat is trying to remember where it left its pocket watch. It is really rocking the Sir Topham Hatt Catt look.

I had a floofy tuxedo cat that never weighed more than 5 lbs dripping wet (she had a nearly perfect tuxedo pattern and a cute little white dot on her right cheek). Now we have a “tuxedo” (more like a Holstein - hardly any symmetry in his pattern) and he’s been a bit of a chonk since he had giardia as a kitten.
