Chonker thinks those words going around say, “Walk on Left, Stand/Lounge on Right.” :smile_cat: Also, they missed an opportunity - put the fitness tracker on kitteh before starting treadmill training!

I’m afraid there has been a mistranslation of cat.

My first steps are still timid and not everything works out right away, but I will continue training.

More accurately:

I have no interest in this insipid human thing. If they keep shoving me onto it, there will be blood.

And that my friends, is how you end up with cat poop in your slippers.

Cat vision reports: nothing is moving in the nap zone. Cat solution: bite at hands preventing from entering nap zone.

Unlikely elaborate phase two: four ‘virtual reality’ screens as walls; depicting retreating mouse butts ahead and a rottweiler in pursuit behind.

This has been a bit help in my ongoing efforts to continue to dislike cats. Thanks!

I bet some treats at the front would help.

My translation is

That cat is not at all afraid, but extremely annoyed.

If you’re going to exercise you should set goals. Visualize what you want to achieve.

never seen any video of a cat confidently and enthusiastically galloping on a treadmill

“not too sure” is hardly restricted to the first steps

That turned out exactly as I expected. It just ain’t gonna happen with most cats.

That’s a great illustration of letting an animal’s curiosity drive the interaction, as opposed to coercing it to do stupid human tricks.

How do I pretend to misunderstand this human atrocity? Let me count the ways …

That human should try to use better pedagogy. Gagne’s 9 events of instruction have proven effective
