Oh, we had a little school of those (some actually quite large) for quite a while downstream of the local power plant. Mid 1980ies to mid 1990ies, IIRC.
I had no idea that goldfish could grow that large.

They get bigger. I have seen bigger in the Chicago river.
They grow as big as regular Carp which is ro say huuuuuge
