C'mon, Los Angeles still thinks San Francisco is a rest stop

I point out here that they are talking specifically about SF, up on the peninsula, not the rest of the bay area, certainly not of San Jose, tenth largest city in the US. In fact, I find that SJ has much more in common with LA/SoCal than much of the rest of the bay area, not least the sprawl.

But hey, being from SJ still means that we’re from Northern California. When I have to, I take 280 north to SF. Not the 280.

Even after a decade in Marin, I know I am an Angeleno at heart because freeways have a THE in front of them!
