You’d think for something as important as the end of the world, they’d have managed to sync the video and audio better.
Wow! So news media in general, and cable in particular, totally embraced their role as the orchestra on the deck of the Titanic as it went under.
Good to know that even back then they realised exactly what they were and are doing.
Apocalypse unicorn chaser:
“the last living CNN employee will be required to play.” Required? If I’m the last living employee, I am going on air and doing whatever the hell I want (it may start with “$#@! you, my boss who told me I’m required to do this,” include a little singing or inappropriate acts, but I suspect I’ll probably end it with a somber reading of “There Will Come Soft Rains” by Ray Bradbury).
So, who’s going to complain?
