At first I was wondering why a hand cleaner product would have a Mother’s Day catalog, but I guess it made more sense once I watched the video.

As for the video itself … I was mostly amused but I still get a feeling of slut shaming and misogyny from Colbert these days. Nothing I can specifically point to without watching the video again and taking notes of timestamps but there we’re a few comments where I had to think “really? That’s what you’re going with, is it?”

I once had an interesting first date when the young woman immediately opened up about reading “an amazing article on Goop” about anal sex that morning. She pretty much recounted the entire thing sitting at the bar. This was a really interesting way to start off the first date, and shockingly we never saw one another again.

… I can’t be the only person wondering how this particular date was initiated.
