I’m sorry about the injuries, but…bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Seriously.

And THEN you get to say you survived the iceburg that sank the Titanic, and they really should give you a plaque for that.

reach their hands into 28-degree water

I thought “that’s surprisingly pleasant” before I remembered they’re using the strange system.
(28°C =~ 82°F)

So this is a museum of artefacts looted from a gravesite? Nice.

This headline is like “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”

Is any further exposition really necessary? I read it and it ends with a zen kinda silence. I nod. I move on.

I can’t find a video clip, but back in the day, Ira Flatow did an icewater demonstration on Newton’s Apple with a large fish tank and some objects he was supposed to retrieve or manipulate. When the temperature got down pretty low, he was seriously struggling to complete the task.

I’m still kinda confused as to why there is a Titanic museum in Tennessee. The one in Belfast I can get, the ship was built there, but what sort of a connection does Tennessee have?
