I’m inclined to agree.
The “he kind of lost it” also seems to be a favorite excuse for adults who cannot regulate their emotions beyond the level of a toddler.* You didn’t “kind of [lose] it.” You never learned to control your temper, even when it leads to violence, and you see no good reason to try to become a better person through therapy or other means. You might even brag about your temper tantrums to seem tough, which tends to add more evidence for a diagnosis of Type I Asshole Disorder.
*Adults who otherwise have no impairments or developmental disorders, although as most of us here know, the people who do have such impairments are usually the victims of crime, not perpetrators of it.
So… did he eat it? Asking for a weird ex-president and his lackey.
Can’t wait to hear how the NYT attributes this to economic anxiety or some crap
As a gedanken, I’ve wondered what the Republican presidents would be like, if they’d been my neighbors growing up. In general, they’d come across similar to my neighbors growing up, generally friendly, more personable than average, like most politicians. Assuming that we didn’t talk politics, and I didn’t know what they did for their day job, they wouldn’t stand out. Trump would be the neighbor who you were pretty sure had poisoned your dog.
ETA: Though based on what I know of Trump, he’d have one of his thugs poison the dog, and then deny knowing anything about it.
Now he has four kids.
i’m flabbergasted that no one brought it to the attention of the administration or hr.
i understand not being able to quite confront it in the moment, but how could you ever feel safe working with someone like that?
