I’ve noticed the same trend. but don’t despair completely. Trump had to use every dirty trick possible to get elected and even then he lost the popular vote. At the rate he is pissing off groups of people I’m hoping he gives the pendulum a hard push back in the leftward direction.

Right now the idea that we should test our beliefs against reality is a radical left-wing notion, so it’s easy to get pushed in that direction.

There was a recent article over on Jezebel on a doctor who is Catholic yet still feels his patients should have access to abortion and birth control:
So religious views aren’t necessarily antithetical to birth control issues; it’s a matter of interpretation. I wish more people could be as open-minded and compassionate as Dr. Parker.
