Having grown up with double dutch, that first video looked like a group of adults turning it into some kind of Vegas show production. Not dissimilar to dancing salsa and rumba in Cuban and Puerto Rican communities, and then watching what they call salsa and rumba in a ballroom dance competition.

Yeah, I liked the second and third videos much better. The light-show of the first was over-the-top. Also why I don’t like a lot of today’s talent shows, despite many of them showcasing talented performers.
