That is fucking terrifying. “Scientists? We don’t need no stinking scientists!”

Effective January 1, 2012, Azar became Presiden of Lilly USA, LLC, the largest division of Eli Lilly and Company, and was responsible for the company’s entire operations in the United States. Prices for drugs rose substantially under Azar’s leadership, including the tripling of the cost of the company’s top-selling insulin drug. Also under Azar’s watch, Eli Lilly was one of three companies accused in a class-action lawsuit of exploiting the drug pricing system to increase profits for insulin.

" Azar picked Brian Harrison, a 37-year old former labradoodle breeder who had no formal education in public health or related fields, but who had worked in the HHS for six years, as HHS’s main coordinator for the government’s response to the coronavirus."

The depths of wanton corruption and stupidity in this administration are beyond belief. The Covid vaccine situation will be a heist of historic proportions.

Guy on Reddit’ r/dataisbeautiful graphs out US “expected deaths” over time from CDC data. Use this to argue against all of those people who claim that the people who died from Coronavirus were probably going to die of some other underlying health reason anyway.

More info on graph and process by same guy over on Medium

i hate this rationalization so much, probably because i have family to whom this would make perfect sense.

we are all going to die of some condition eventually anyway ( well, except me. im going to live forever. yup. that’s my plan. don’t try to argue me out of it )

the while point of not getting infected by a killing disease is to live longer. to stay healthy and enjoy life ( such as it is ) while you’re alive.

pretty sure life is a pre-existing condition that we are all subject to.

The managing editor of the prominent conservative website RedState has spent months trashing U.S. officials tasked with combating COVID-19, dubbing White House coronavirus task force member Dr. Anthony Fauci a “mask nazi,” and intimating that government officials responsible for the pandemic response should be executed.

A press officer at the NIH sounds a lot like a government official to me. Just sayin’.

“ An executive branch employee may not engage in outside employment or any other outside activity that conflicts with the employee’s official duties. Under Subpart H of 5 C.F.R. part 2635, an outside activity conflicts with an employee’s official duties if the activity:

  • Is prohibited by statute or by an agency supplemental regulation; or
  • Requires the employee’s disqualification from Government work that is central or critical to the performance of the employee’s Government duties“

I think we’re at the point where it is safe to say that the entire Wuhan virus scare was nothing more or less than a massive fraud perpetrated upon the American people by ‘experts’ who were determined to fundamentally change the way the country lives and is organized and governed,

man. those experts get some traveling done.

they’re so powerful they can fake deaths, hospital statistics, and more around the entire world. they have singlehandedly forced every government large and small into draconian measures like asking people to masks in crowded public spaces… a measure second only to the enslavement of other human beings ( which actually is okay so long as it was done by the confederacy of the united states. )

yet somehow… this mysterious cabal can’t stop the conspiracy theorists themselves.

how odd

the reporter says this:

And it illustrates the extent to which the response to the pandemic has become deeply politicized, even within the agencies at the front lines of fighting it.

god. just no. it hasn’t magically “become” politicized. the right-wing has made an non-political issue political. how about:

it illustrates the extent to which the right has politicized the response, even within the agencies at the front lines of fighting it.

A little humor to lighten up the timeline:

(In the replies, we find out that the place isn’t a movie theater, it’s a TexMex restaurant, but the signs are still pretty funny.)

No.

Sometimes I get the impression that I am living as an egyptian extra in the new twisted version of the film “The Ten Commandments”.

Dengue, Zyka, Covid, forests on fire and so on…

What will be the next plague?

Some questions should really not be asked. In 2020, that would be most questions.
