Surprising no-one, but:
We have a family member with eventually terminal cancer, and we’ve decided to risk traveling to take our kid to see them this year. We vacillated on driving (probably three days) and flying (two hours of driving on each side with a two hour direct flight) and finally went with the latter. A coworker recently flew on Delta and suggested they were doing a really good job, and I’ve heard the same elsewhere about Southwest (which we would take).
A few weeks ago when we made the decision and booked the flights it seemed a lot more reasonable. Now we’re having to reconsider almost daily.
It didn’t have to be like this.
If the American news media actually wanted to report on Covid-19 (Narrator: they don’t), they would start every article the same way.
