Reading that we’ll be dealing with this virus for “a few more years” initially bummed me out. I’m hoping that instead of making COVID “manageable,” scientists will manage to eliminate it. This pandemic has really exposed we’re dealing with a significant portion of the population that won’t willingly get vaccinated or take recommended preventative measures.
