Continuing coronavirus happenings (Part 3)

As Israelis and Icelanders can attest, that might not be a good idea…

I’m still hoping it will unravel the government here. In our case it’s not so much the breaking, which is a misdemeanor, but rather the lies unravelling other lies and showing more serious failings…

I’ve heard anecdotes that MAGA COVIDiots are trying to bully vet clinics to sell them Heartgard (yes, for heartworms in pets). Why? Because its primary ingredient is ivermectin.

A family spokesperson confirmed to CNN on Friday night that Jacqueline Jackson, 77, had arrived at home.

“Our father remains at The Shirley Ryan AbilityLab where he is continuing to receive intensive occupational and physical therapy,” Jonathan Jackson said. “We urge all who have not yet been vaccinated for the Covid-19 virus to do so immediately.”

Let’s not forget that The U.S. is undercounting deaths by nearly 60% and cases by about the same margin.

USA and Russia as the breakaway leaders in vaccine hesitancy? Shirley, this has to be a coincidence!

I dunno how that happened. The political leaders in both were world leaders in straight talking when this all broke out. You could really trust them to give it to you like it was.

Or at least you could really trust them to give it to you.

As it were.

I’m sure that I checked for connections when the Great Barrington Declaration came out last year, but missed this one:

Jay Bhattacharya, one of the authors, was a fellow at the Hoover Institution 2006 to 2008. (Scott Atlas and the rest of his Kill Grandma friends.)

Someone needs to write a paper on “The Breakdown of the Libertarian1 Mind during the Covid-19 Global Health Emergency”.

I haven’t seen any criminal prosecutions here for spreading COVID, but there’s a whiff of fear about civil liability in the air. My home insurance now has a clause excluding COVID cases from coverage. That suggests that :canada: insurers fear settlements well in excess of the $880 Mr Tri was fined.

Certainly every suggestion of a gathering of late has been preceded by the question “have you had both your vaccine shots?”

So who’s up for some good news? This is pretty wild!

In a study published online last month, Bieniasz and his colleagues found antibodies in these individuals that can strongly neutralize the six variants of concern tested, including delta and beta, as well as several other viruses related to SARS-CoV-2, including one in bats, two in pangolins and the one that caused the first coronavirus pandemic, SARS-CoV-1.
So who is capable of mounting this “superhuman” or “hybrid” immune response?
People who have had a “hybrid” exposure to the virus. Specifically, they were infected with COVID-19 in 2020 and then immunized with mRNA vaccines this year. “Those people have amazing responses to the vaccine,” says virologist Theodora Hatziioannou at the Rockefeller University, who also helped to lead several of the studies. “I think they are in the best position to fight the virus. The antibodies in these people’s blood can even neutralize SARS-CoV-1, the first coronavirus, which emerged 20 years ago. That virus is very, very different from SARS-CoV-2.”

I’m putting this here. I’m assuming it is basically misinformation but it is out there and I’m guessing people will be trying whacky non-recommended ways to self-medicate as a result. Please use only recommended treatments for COVID.
