One of the first things that former Prime Minister Abe’s government did in the early days of the pandemic (back when there were severe mask shortages) was order a bunch of washable cloth masks to distribute among the people. Each household (regardless of the number of occupants) received two masks.
Today, it was reported that some 82 million masks (valued at over 100 million USD) are sitting in a warehouse unused, and the government is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars a month just to store them.
That is the worst US coin to swallow, too! The copper coating can tolerate a little bit of acid, but the zinc core will get chewed up by the stomach acid if exposed and that can cause ulcers and other issues. Most other coins will tolerate the stomach acid just fine and the main concern is that they do not get stuck anywhere in the digestive tract.
Arthritis is an inflammation of the cartilage in the joints. Infective arthritis is where the cause of that inflammation is an infection or sepsis. (Which means it can be cured with antibiotics, in theory.)
As opposed to something like rheumatoid arthritis, which is an autoimmune condition. Best you can do there is treat the symptoms and hope they don’t get worse.
