pronouns in bio people

Wtf does that mean?

It means “the sort of woke BLM cultural marxist cancelistas who put (he/him) in their Twitter Bios”.

It means “Haha, however you read it this triggered the libs.”

It means “voting rights and Covid testing are equally a joke to us, so long as it pisses the right people off.”

It means “Ben Shapiro wants his debating technique back.”

May or may not mean anything. Recombination is going to happen, but it’s random. Mix delta transmissability with omicron lethality? Yes please. Won’t be that simple, though. The novel mutations concern me more, honestly.

I have no idea about this site but this story showed up in my news feed. It’s an interesting read.

He mentions the roll-out of vaccination to 6-11 year-olds.

That starts today. It’s been in the planning for at least a month. And, naturally, people are already reporting that their appointments have been delayed or cancelled because the vaccination locations haven’t been supplied with enough vaccine.

AOC has COVID, picked it up while on a maskless party junket in Florida. I’m so disappointed right now. It’s really frustrating how I keep falling for this “no, this congress critter is really a different person, they’re not like the rest of them” only to come crashing down to earth that, nope. Just more of the same, willing to say what we should do, but not willing to do it themselves. No different than Ted flying off to Cancun.

I mean fuck, my Mom has cancer and I put off seeing her over the new years because omicron looked scary and the risk was too high.

AOC isn’t a saint or a paragon, she’s a human being. Human beings screw up.

I think there’s a world of difference between her ill-advisedly going to Florida and getting herself sick, and Cruz fleeing his state in a time of crisis so that he doesn’t have to suffer alongside his constituents.

Please don’t support the right wing narrative. Her actions are in no way equivalent to Cruz’s.

It’s not a right wing narrative, I have friends that went stupidly went to bars in florida too and met her. They said the places were packed.

EDIT: Also, if this were Ron Desantis (I mean shit, it HAS been), he would have been fucking torched here and you know it.

I get it. Just, going to party in florida when telling others to cancel plans and do the right / safe thing is really fucking heartbreaking when my cancelled plans were seeing my mother , whose stage 4b cancer a year and a half ago was supposed to kill her months ago. It makes me incredibly angry to see people telling me how to live, and then intentionally doing whatever the fuck they want.

Politicians doing their thing as usual.

except that version would die out

it couldn’t compete with omicron

whichever variant is most transmissible wins

Yep, and I keep falling for it. And probably WILL keep falling for it.

Exactly. Hence my statement.

The lines in front of test centers are huge.

Obviously, then, there is no difference, we are all doomed and might as well go eat worms. Or, well, not. No politician is a candidate for sainthood,. The catch-22 of electoral politics assures that. Nonetheless, we do, in fact, have a choice between politicians who support things we support, and those who think we are vermin to be eliminated. The saintliness of those politicians plays no role.

Well, I mean, I don’t live in NY. I don’t choose their representatives. Mine are cool though. They spent a quiet, sedate holidays at home with their immediate family.
