For those of you who might like to dip your toes into the water, you might want to read Joshua Zeitz’ book “Flapper”. It’s a fun read and each chapter focuses on specific individuals (Lois Long, Coco Chanel) or topics (prohibition, advertising). Nothing too in depth, but entertaining and a good overview of the era through the lens of women.
