You lost me at “depress with my meat.”
Was it just me, or was Andy’s pun run one of the worst ever? I could barely summon a groan.
Was good to have back that guy from “The Love Guru” though.
There’s another charity stream going over on Twitch. Tina_too is doing a fundraiser in honor of her friend Caseem, who passed away due to sickle cell anemia. All donations and tips over the 48 hour event will go to the Sickle Cell Disease Association.
(I’m having issues with the link, but if you go to twitch.tv, the channel is Tina_too.
Edited to update: The stream is over. It went over 48 hours, largely because everyone was having so much fun remembering Caseem and celebrating his memory. The grand total collected was, in Canadian dollars, $6341.53, smashing all goals set. What an amazing ride!

I didnt get to travel home this year. Surprisingly one thing I miss is sitting for hours on a hilltop at the edge of the forest as the wind comes howling in from the Atlantic. These two sites help a bit.
I’ve started watching various YouTube channels for sounds like this. I tend to focus on bodies of water, but these wind sounds are very interesting. The different intensities remind me of changing from streams to rivers and oceans:
I just ordered a RasPi 400 on a whim. I have no idea what to do with it other than mess around with it to practice using Linux, which I’ve never really done before.
Anything else fun I could use it for?
ETA: this fulfills this prophecy:
I thought it was going to be one of those “draw a circle” then “draw the giraffe” jokes… I might try that later. Mainly so my daughter can laugh at my pitiful efforts at drawing…
If you’re interested in radio, one or two cheap RTLSDR sticks can be fun - and they can be useful as well. I have a headless Pi 3 monitoring several 433 MHz remote temperature/humidity sensors using rtl_433 to receive the data.
You might find that Raspberry Pis tend to multiply.
Mine serves as the hub for our home automation crap. It runs HomeBridge, which is a server (sort of?) that makes nearly any IoT gadget compatible with Apple’s HomeKit protocol.
