Halloween is for The Dead apparently…
How Grateful are they?
What a great display, though!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing this.
I am glad you liked it.
I was watching TV when I saw this commercial of a new video streaming service. They flashed a lot of quick clips of their shows. In the middle of all the same things that we are used to see, one name grabbed my attention.I had to google it and I was surprised by the story of the band.
It reminded me another band from Rio called Harmonia Enlouquece (something like harmony goes crazy). It was formed by several patients of a local hospital. It is a band, but also a tool to give a better life for the artists.
Enjoy dark blue dress/sneaker kid’s dancing.
Having a Sundays revival:
The jangly guitar and vocals are grand as well, but I always thought that the originality of their drumming was underappreciated. Not quite like anyone else.
That remains one of my favorite albums of all time, for sure.
I ran across that Burnside video this summer, which led down a rabbit hole of Alan Lomax Archive videos; what a glorious use of the internet that so much of that material is available online. What a national treasure.
Talking Heads meets Neon Genesis Evangelion…
Time-travelling Gotye:
Not sure if this belongs here but… IKEA is known for their Christmas ads, and this year they put one together featuring D Double E. Bluku Bluku!
Bud-a bup bup!
