Dan Hillier on working with Alan Moore on a gorgeous limited edition of "The Call of Cthulhu" for the Folio Society

The limited edition is quite nice, i like the black cover. But for almost $600 that’s not for me i guess, the other version is ok but not really crazy over the color of the cover.

Even if it is a color without a name - a color no man has ever seen - the color out of space?

Coat the outside cover in LSD. wait for people to handle the book and start tripping hard. I think it’s the only way to do Lovecraft horror some justice.

I had the pleasure (or pain) of working on the production of Charles Burns’ Facetasm book and have appreciation into the level of effort these kinds of things take. The folio is beautiful. Good work.

What do you mean it doesn’t have a name?

It’s clearly Grade Bat with a little touch of Wltlttf Bzt and maybe a little Dondarf!
