Never had vinegar in my beach trip checklist. I suppose I’d have to hope there was a chippy handy.

Anecdotal: I got stung as a kid on a beach somewhere, and pee worked. That is all, m8.

Well, I’ll be. Is that seal broken though? Looks a bit dodgy.

I grew up on the west coast of the US, and we only got really tiny jellies, and only sometimes. (I say tiny, but it’s relative.)

Vinegar treatment stations are pretty common on popular beaches that have stingers/box jellyfish in season. And most charter boats/surf lifesavers/first aid stations will keep a bottle of it around. Very hot water can also work, depending on what’s stung you.
