Yeah, he’s hardly being crucified. He said something really stupid. Seems to be a “thing” with at the least a certain class of DEA agents. Probably mostly the ones hyper focused on marijuana, as it is so obviously not something which should be illegal. Not very distant from laws like “do not fly kites” or “do not make snowmen”.
Actually supporting jailing people for this kind of thing clearly warps the brain, besides shrinking and hardening the heart.

Actually they were pet cows, as far as I knew, and I spent a lot of time in the pasture petting and riding them. Then I got “the lesson”. I learned not to just go willy-nilly with naming things.
Pretty sure they only used that argument because it plays better than “we’d have our budget cut”.
Hmmm, “grass fed” cows are the best!
