Was surprised to hear avant composer Scott Johnson passed away from cancer earlier this year. His “John Somebody” LP was a big influence on me in high school.

The character was really fantastic… the fact that he first played him as someone who didn’t talk at all, and only later had a speaking role was well done. RIP, Don Hector!

A character actor’s character actor. Margolis’ fingerprint is on so many well-known films and TV series before he became Hector.
