Iā€™m calling it now - they stripped him naked and pushed him out into -40F ambient temperature. He likely died within minutes.

As far as I can tell coldest temperature in Kharp was around -20C (-4F) for the last month. Of course that will kill but I have jumped into to the snow nude in that sort of weather,

One of the known punishments there is to throw water on someone being forced to stand outside in that cold.

Something tells me thatā€™s not part of your customary sauna ritual.
