Well, yes. You’re right. I was being simplistic. But even Trump voters who actually were able to care about things in the real world (like their own medicare or medicaid!) continue to support Trump. (Support among Trump voters has, I understand, edged down very slightly.) When I look at the things he promised people—In my first 100 days I will do X, Y, Z—and I notice that he accomplished or attempted almost none of them, and I see that his support has hardly suffered, I can only conclude that Trump people—even the Trump people who truly cared about the plans and policies Trump ran on—don’t care much.

Teapublicans in Congress have exempted themselves and their staff members from losing the ACA protections that cover pre-existing conditions.
Trump voters are incapable of learning from or taking responsibility for their choices. They won’t be happy their Medicare and Medicaid is gone, they’ll be confused and angry, but they’ll blame it on anybody Trump or Fox News tells them to blame it on. They’ll double and triple and quadruple down rather than ever go to the trouble of thinking critically.
I wonder if people actually expect their RepubliCare premiums to come down?
Absolutely, some will listen to the Voice of Trump on FOX and nod their head when they say this is all Obama’s fault or something. But my hope is that a lot of Americans who don’t give a crap about politics or executive orders will at least notice that their healthcare sucks now and they don’t have Medicaid, and it’ll be a nice concrete reminder when they go to the voting booth.
Tweeting that. Got a source?
I notice that Narcissistic Personality Disorder is absent from that list.
It wouldn’t be charitable or Christian to wish the pols who voted for this would be fed foot-first into a slow-moving blunt-bladed wood chipper.
So I’ll just say “God bless their hearts.”
My son sent it to me. He says it came off of Democracy Now [ https://www.democracynow.org/ ] . Hope that helps…

Same here. I´m German. I was born into universal healthcare. So were my parents. And my grandparents. Universal healthcare was intruduced in this country in 1883. Living with out it was unthinkable for generations of Germans. What just happend in the US is as grotesque, as repulsive, as unthinkable here as reintroducing human sacrifice to make the crops grow. Its just so weird and barbaric to strip people of a basic human right, the right to be healthy, just like that. I have a very hard time to wrap my head around this.
I was trying to look for you and found the source video.
Thanks! Its about Medicare privatization, but it totally fits the AHCA too.
I like how the guy carefully returns the chair.
Trumpneglect.
The key difference is that “whore” describes a behavior/vocation open to both genders whereas the n-word refers to a specific race.
Bud Light.
Not only are they callous evil greed-head bastards, but they have awful taste.
Every time I hear of Trump wrecking something else I can only think of this scene from Star Wars.
You repeat yourself
