Do people actually eat those? Don’t they just wave them about Henry VIII-ishly, then dump them?
Did you know that the “pleasure” part is especially absent when one is a Ren Faire worker (as I was for a season, a couple of decades ago)?
Is it because other people find time to do stuff away from tha intarwebz?
(What’s that like?)
Probably not worth it?
Why is it rainy and cold again?
April showers bring May flowers?
Mayflowers bring Pilgrims, and who wants them again?
Geez, can you imagine what would happen if we actually had done real work instead of asking questions?
Wait, isn’t questioning real work?
Wait, why am I not at RSA right now?
(Time to finish fire pit)
@Donald_Petersen, I was just walking past a set of trailers (they’re shooting Girls on 19th Street, if anyone’s interested) and passed one marked “writers,” is it common to have writers on set? Don’t they get most of that pretty close to complete before bringing in the $100/hour crew?
Also, editing, Avid or Adobe Premiere?
Perhaps I’ll sand it and cut off the rough edges?
Is that any way to talk about your wife?
Bwahahahaha…??
Did my wife just say, after a yellow jacket landed on me a dozen times, “I don’t know what to tell you, princess”?
This is the first down-blouse shot on the BBS, isn’t it?
Is everyone up for a REAL question?
Any advice on how to set up two external drives so that one can be entirely under my control to mirror the other, for a teenager who uses a Mac laptop and iPhone which are both password-protected (which I respect) but is ridiculously computer-ignorant about proper backups? Specifically to back up the >1TB-worth of photos she cannot lose without the world ending? Can I copy what’s on her external drive to a second backup drive directly, so I don’t have to go through her password-protected laptop to ensure this particular total catastrophe never happens to her? And how would I do that?
As an anti-Macite, it makes sense for me to not get involved, right? Just so you know I’m not ignoring you?
Also, is there a way to get the iPhone to automatically backup to the cloud? My Android does that and I don’t worry about losing it that much as a result, but not sure about Mac?
And, while I’m at it, would it be alright if I lauded your approach to both privacy and photo backups? Because everyone forgets about the latter until too late, right?
Doesn’t iCloud already do that, then whinge about how you’ve used up your free allocation and should buy more?
And wouldn’t something like a RAID 1 array be what you’d need to backup the data?
