So what yer saying is I shouldn’t be stuffing myself with vital wheat gluten, corn starch, and ground venison?

Well not as your entire diet no. Ground venison, Bambi burgers? Is that something I should try sometime?

Isn’t just the weight of the world sometimes? What do I do about the uncertainties of the academic job market and what are my alternatives to such locally? Wouldn’t I like it if I knew what I plan to do once I’m done with the PhD?

Isn’t it weird that one of my daughters has a friend who will not eat any form of berry, and especially strawberries? When you feed other people’s children, don’t you have to make some concessions for their idiosyncrasies, no matter how odd?

Isn’t this why cheese pizza has become the de facto food choice for all children’s parties?

What do you mean you don’t like your haggis and salty porridge, eat up and and I’ll reward you with some oatcakes and whiskey! Don’t you want your oatcakes?

If you figure anything would you out let me know? Cause my current job path is only kinda sorta related to the math I was studying in college and I only got into paid tech support cause I got tired of helping the other students for free. Not that I can see any career path with a math degree other than more school that would be interesting to me anyway.

Okay but I would have to be interested in doing that kind of stuff for a living then wouldn’t I?
I like math cause it was fun to learn. Programming was fun to learn till I did it for a summer job… never ever again. If I ever win even a smallish lotto jackpot maybe go finish the degree, and get one in Physics as well. But as a job… enh. Maybe I can get a tech support gig at the LHC?
