Isn’t Transverse City the best cyberpunk album Evar?!?!?
They did some child oriented albums didn’t they? (Do I not want to say “child oriented” because, well, TMBJ?) Are they still doing that? Shouldn’t a parent be allowed to determine if their child is mature enough to see a musical act in the same way they currently do for some movies?
ETA: [Dial a song][1] is a web site now instead of an answering machine? How old am I?

They did indeed and I have a few. They were favorites of the kid when he was smaller. I think them becoming parents had a bit to do with it.
Are you old enough to have seen them as only John and John on stage backed up by the tape machine? Did you get to see them do that?
Perhaps? Maybe I was on the wrong coast at the time?
Isn’t that Jason Schwartzman nice?
Should I feel bad that despite enjoying his Q&A sessions before and after the film tonight, I really didn’t like 7 Chinese Brothers?
Won’t we always have Bored to Death though?
Does everybody like having a summer head cold?
You mean, do I still exist?
Didn’t they do like… 4 kids albums? Aren’t they pretty fantastic? Didn’t the kid love them? Don’t I agree that you should be able to take your kids to see whatever you’d like? Didn’t I take my kid to see Laibach of all things and it was an all ages show?
Won’t I be there once I perfect my time machine for shows project? Won’t I pick up @anon67050589 and we’ll see past you there? Anyone else want to go?
Something like that? Are you still spherical or sung in a staggered arrangement?
I’m sorry, did my cold virus cross the interwubz and infect you?
Why is it that the “recommended” videos on YouTube are sometimes so very odd or just completely unrelated to what I’ve just watched?
Why did my kid assure me all weekend she was on top of her homework (final week of school, all projects/papers due) but then secretly set her alarm 1 1/2 hours early this morning so that she could finish? And then the alarm didn’t go off, so she’s still at home working and missing an end-of-the-year party? Isn’t this my organized, dutiful, youngest child? Where did she go? (Oh, yeah…hormones.)
Is she teaching herself a lesson about the 7 Ps?
Doesn’t that depend entirely on if you consider them kid’s albums or not?
As a side note, you guys all know about Josh Ritter, right? Did I mention he put one the better shows of his I’ve seen last Sunday?
If she’s at home working and missing a party, wouldn’t they still be considered dutiful? And still youngest?
Didn’t I see that same NIN tour in Iowa City who also didn’t let Mr. Lifto do his whole set? (Wouldn’t you know, I saw the whole deal at The Majestic in Detroit a couple years later on my birthday, though?)
Why would it be odd to not like stadium concerts? Do they not completely suck? Isn’t First Avenue my favorite place, evar, to see a show? (It is, but wouldn’t you have to recall where I grew up to even guess that?)
Even though The Tractor and The Crocodile are pretty awesome, could the same be said when I say that Mississippi Nights is pretty much my favorite venue?
Have you met my daughter? How did you nail her character so succinctly?
