Isnā€™t that the only venue in the US Iā€™ve ever been to?

Skinny Puppy, My Life with the Thrill Kill Cult, Rollins Band (gives a good show, still think heā€™s a jerk, and Hank owes my buddy $10 PAY UP HANK), Meat Beat Manifesto. And a few others. Did I actually see Jesus Jones, there? or not? My girlfriend was mortified when my Swiss Army knife was confiscated at the door for Hankā€™s Shower of Sweat.

And am I sad to learn that said awesome concert venue has since been closed?
(yes yes I am, going to see GWAR and getting bled on by Slymenstra Hymen is one of my most favorite memories)

Didnā€™t I see Thrill Kill Cult in Des Moines at the only venue in the city, and it was only open sometimes?

(Why canā€™t I remember what shows I saw at First Ave in the time period you lived in the TC? Did I have too much fun or something?)

Wish some of the Boing Boing staff would come on out and endorse him officially on this blog ā€“ or at least start posting more about him? Time to stop merely reporting and complaining about a desire for real change and actually taking some bold steps to endorse it and put it into action?

Itā€™s not like the readership would be shocked to find out theyā€™re progressives or something, would they?
