Is it weird that even though I’m on an iPad, I still think of selecting things on my screen as “clicking” instead of “tapping”?
Why would that be weird? Is it just because I’m old, or do other people “dial” numbers on their cell phones?
More like a ladle?
Ain’t I a phone dialer, too?
Don’t I know a 65-year-old who calls dvds “tapes”?
And isn’t that fine?
Is there still room for the frank in there?
Then how old am I, when I often refer to any musical storage-on-actual-hardware as “records”?
Frank who?
Does anyone else find it amusing that @discbot has earned “nice post” twice?
Has anyone else tried PMing “help” to @discbot? It’s supposed to work, but it didn’t for me, eh?
@slybevel, I understand:
@discbot roll d20 - roll a single 20 sided dice
@discbot roll 2d20 - roll two dice
@discbot roll 2d20+5 - roll two dice with a positive modifier
@discbot roll 2d20-5 - roll two dice with a negative modifier
@discbot roll d20 your extra text here - rolls and parrots back your extra text
@discbot hello - discbot will respond with a greeting
@discbot help - shows all discbot commands
OMG lol?
Is referring to my cds and mp3s as “albums” acceptable usage?
Do your MP3s have cover art?
@discbot hello (?)
Hello, @slybevel. I am your friendly neighborhood discourse bot.
Wouldn’t I be some sort of Philistine if I didn’t have the album art?
(Yes, I tend to buy mp3 albums, not single songs)
Hey @OtherMichael, @discbot doesn’t count for the kvestions, right? Since it’s not really sentient?
Doesn’t it make more sense now that I scrolled back a few posts? The holy Boing you say?
Do I care?
When will I have finally figured out the nuances of the holy Boing?
