Anyone else go out to watch the Draconids tonight?

I watched for a while but didn’t see any.

No, really? Would I have seen one over Scotland perhaps? Wasn’t I the guy stuck static in the street, gawping at the sky for rather too long last night after catching what I thought was a meteor in my peripheral vision?

I am starting a new rule, the ‘and’ is the redundant part–have I consulted god, country, friends? Yes, and wasn’t I found righteous?

I like to only use it when the subject or schema is changed in reference to the last list item but who the hell can get worked up to the point where they hate on it?

God, the Devil and Bob?

Why does God always look like Jerry Garcia? Is there a Grand Prank I’m not privy to? (Please tell me there is)

Has anyone else reached their limit of “pumpkin spice flavored” stuff? How the hell did it become a thing to add pumpkin spice to damn near every kind of foodstuff (and non-foodstuff stuff as well)? Aren’t this year’s grocery store displays a bit much?

Seriously, as much as I love Trader Joe’s, are pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds really necessary?

(And I say this as a person who really enjoys pumpkin.)

Where’s my punkin spice flavoured cod liver oil?

Shouldn’t I have bought the capsules rather than the extra strength liquid?

What gets rid of the taste of cod liver oil anyhoo?

Also, I’m cutting down on sugar so isn’t a spoonful to help it down out of the question?

Oh!.. The burps!.. The burrrrps!.. Why oh why!?

Aren’t “pumpkin” and “pumpkin spice” actually two completely different things that have been, sadly, unnecessarily conflated?

Shouldn’t the flavor really be called “warming spices” or some such?

(I say that as someone who enjoys pumpkin both/either spiced and/or non-spiced—e.g., plain roasted or steamed pumpkin with butter and salt = tasty, to me.)
