Wow, Iā'd forgotten how impressive reading and writing shorthand isā¦ do you have to have really good, 100% reproducible writing technique or does it all come down to context within the sentence/subject?

But why does this hypothesis explicitly exclude white box discovery in lieu of black box discovery? Why do we think models based on subjective measurement are easy while models based on objective measurement are doomed to failure?
Plus, given that grammar let alone context is impossible for even the most intense computation, why do we think intelligence will spring forth any time soon?

By spring forth, do you mean, entirely original, digital consciousness, or are we allowed to put our ghost into the machine?
Because wouldnāt that make such an emergence much easier? Inhabiting the real-estate, as it were, working on the problem with the tools of consciousness we already have at our disposal?
