Did you ever want to play questions?

How???

Haven’t I collected a number of pie pastry recipes using the food processor method and yet never actually tried it? How old-school is that?

Don’t I use a mandolin or grater for that?

But don’t I often need 1/2 cup or more for some of my recipes? Am I getting soft and lazy in my old age? I mean, in my PRIME?

Could one say you have a grating tone in those circumstances?

Are those blades common where you are?

Don’t my mandolin blades look more like:

Don’t I think your blades look much sturdier?

Oh jeah, could someone really have that?

On a completely different subject…should I put the following link in one of the energy threads, or one of the cooking threads? Or maybe both?

What’s a mandolin?

Do I expect they indeed are?
Am I using them, and heavy, for more than 20 years, and only needed to shape the flat one?

And are this one the ones you buy in the middle class / high end market over here?

Am I impressed?

Did this gave me a good laugh?

Don’t I whish the same?

Isn’t it spelled mandoline, differentiating it from the instrument, the mandolin?

Are you right? And I really sorry?

All this kitchen talk, and no @japhroaig - you think he’s serious about the move today?

Isn’t he supposed to be on the road?

Do I’m afraid so?
And do I worry about his garden (talk)?

Do I love the idea of mandolines? Do I hate the fear of mandolines? Yes and yes.

Aren’t fingertips overrated?

Does your mac and cheese recipe not include a pound of two types of cheese? Do you want to do all that by hand?

Very old school, as food processor style has been out there for at least a decade. You are using vodka though, right? RIGHT?

Slaw by mandoline? Who has the time? You might find that you can rasp a cup off fairly quickly if needed (see mac and cheese topping), and isn’t that twice as much?

Yeah right, are you going to tell us about the kitchen utensil “hurdye gurdye” next?
