Did you ever want to play questions?

Wouldn’t you be better off with a zither?

Don’t I know what you mean, about the usefulness of a KitchenAid mixer and a mandolin and good knives? But aren’t there some things that just work better (or at least faster) with a food processor?

Like, grating parmesan cheese finely, the entire chunk all at once so that it’s readily at hand whenever you need it?

Wasn’t this my first mandolin in the 1970s until the late 1990s, when I was finally financially comfortable enough to start to upgrade my basic utensils?

Don’t we need to find the French equivalent for @Stynx? Is there a French actor named Donald?

Doesn’t that lid look exactly like the one I need to replace, except it’s for a 14-cup instead of an 11-cup bowl?

But yeah, isn’t that the problem? Wasn’t Cuisinart first on the scene – at least in the U.S. – and still the standard bearer?

Didn’t I laugh when I read the text?

The Cuisinart Prep 9 ($150, amazon.com) and Prep 11 ($200, amazon.com) excelled at everything — even tricky jobs like slicing tomatoes and shredding carrots. The Prep 9’s nine-cup capacity should be ample for most home cooks, while the 11-cup Prep 11 is ideal if you entertain often.

Isn’t the Prep 11 what I have currently?

Ebay?

Oh my, noooo… Did I again forgot witch topic I’m in?

Isn’t that thoughtful of you? (Thanks!) But isn’t the specific lid with the sensor not available there either? And won’t the machine refuse to work without that sensor being engaged, so a plain lid isn’t a useful substitute?

Should I try the hot glue gun? Why not, right? What have I got to lose, at this point?

I imagine you are right. But do you believe I’ve never ever, even via my mom or grandmother, have had the pleasure to learn the pleasure of a foodprocessor?

French, Dutch, whatever. (do jou believe that?) Don’t I thank you for the kind thought?
This Donald, ah, oh?

Aren’t you making me reassess how often I use it, and for what? Isn’t this an opportune time to decide to pare down my electrical appliances?

What would you suggest as the least exhausting way to grate an entire chunk of parmesan finely, since that is the most common reason I use the Cuisinart rather than another piece of equipment?

Perhaps this Donald, then?

Is it cheap of me to go this direction with it then?

Wait, do you not also use it to make mac and cheese? And pie crust? And slaw?

Would a microplane rasp suit better for parmesan as needed instead of the entire hunk?

I’m not able to?
Do I live in like the stone ages, under my comfy rock?
Using this kind of thing if I need to grate?

And do I use nasty words if it takes more than 10 min to grate some stuff?

Might I also suggest a soldering iron to weld it back together?

And for the price of the 11 cup you might as well step up to the 14 which is better built and still has all the disks, right?

And do I really need to add to myself?
And is this thing also unmissable?

And how many times did it take blood?

Do I know a soldering iron is indeed a good advice?
