Doesn’t the only person I know from ‘Iowa’ actually go to the Mini Apple when he goes ‘back’? Is Iowa even a real place, or is it made up, like Finland?

If I said my grandparents are from Iowa and I spent a lot of time there, would you think that was just part of the cover-up? Did you know that when we wanted to go on trips to interesting places (besides the farm) we usually wound up driving to Wisconsin or Illinois?
