Did you ever want to play questions?

Was it one of them rattlers that are trained to attack people who smell like Minnesota?

Don’t I recall that you mentioned that in that other thread with “dangerous critters of Texas”, and I tried to ask you where in Iowa, but the question went over your head?

Isn’t it really hard to say where you are in Iowa when the entire State is one vast flat cornfield?

Aren’t all rattlers trained to attack people who smell like Minnesota?

Having smelled like Minnesota before (which isn’t critter poop, the way Iowa smells), and also having not ever been bitten by a rattle snake, may I suggest the answer could well be no?

Deep fried food on a stick? Or lutefisk?

Except for Ames and the parts nearest Wisconsin? Wasn’t that quite the uphill hike from Lincoln Way to the southern dorms?

Srsly? What the hell? It’s 72 F in here and the tailless wonder is under the stove?!?

Not the biggest Iowa fan? :slightly_smiling: Isn’t Iowa City kind of cool, though? Is there a place in Iowa called the tri-county area or something like that? If I thought my great-uncle’s farm was near there (where the rattler incident occurred) would that make sense or be a distorted recollection from a time long past?

Well, since I didn’t go to U of I, didn’t I spend very little time in Iowa City? It was OK? At least they had reasonable venues for independent musical groups to perform? Or was that just that one place we went that one time when I went with my then boyfriend for a gig the band he was in did there?

As for liking the state, didn’t all my chums from uni refer to it as being 3 hours from anywhere, and 6 hours from anywhere good? (And weren’t nearly all of them native to Iowa?)

how old is the kitty? doesn’t my kitty of tropical descent look for any warm spot till the weather outside is above 80F?

Didn’t my parents formerly have a hot water boiler that sat on the floor rather than being wall mounted?

Would you ever find the cats anywhere except sitting on it?

Isn’t this sad on so many levels?

Isn’t that a jaunty hat? Does she know she’ll probably never drive again?
