Martinis are gross, seriously, it’s just a glass of gin. But an appetizer sized portion of mac and cheese is brilliant. Too much mac leaves you bloated, but a bit would be lovely. I cannot endorse the involvement of vodka in mac and cheese in any way.
If your Martini is just a glass of gin, somebody made it wrong. The vermouth is not optional. Try a 2:1 ratio of gin to vermouth (“dry” or “French”), with an olive, served nice and cold. If you still can’t hang, it’s OK. Go have a rum & coke instead.
Penne alla vodka actually were a hit here in Italy during the seventies/eighties
Of course one must use Potato Vodka for this.
