I’m still grateful: If I’m about to hit the road at 5 am and need something to wake up, I won’t turn my nose up at motel room coffee.

That’s not eating dirt. In fact everyone that has had pepto bismol or Kaopectate eat’s a type of clay.
Altho Pepto recently switched to a synthetic Kaolin.
