Could this be an example of drugs being tested on men, not women, and then the expected reactions aren’t the same in women?
Nah. Afterwards I looked up the drug and I am just one of those special cases for it. It is one that can cross the blood brain barrier and if it does for you then ooh boy insomnia and freaky dreams ahoy!
edit and yeah need more coffee today I already said this a few days ago. durr.
Oh totally possible, but weird drug reactions are also a thing in my family (one of my doctors blames it on my father’s redhead genes). So I’m used to the most commonly used drug for any particular problem not working or having some bizarre side effect. For example, I was briefly on Wellbutrin for a mild bout of depression, but I had to stop after I started getting massive anxiety and panic attacks; both things I’d never had before.
FWIW, we have the same problem on my mother’s side of the family, and we can’t blame it on red hair!
