And how do we know that it wasn’t just a normal day but the pic was taken by Michael Bay.
When it’s extremely cold here in the Chicago area you can sometimes see a beam of light pointing into the sky just before dawn. It’s called a sun pillar and is caused by sunlight being reflected (refracted?) by very flat ice particles falling.
