Hey, credit it where it’s due. The bikers didn’t rescue the dog. Trained and dedicated search and rescue people from the county did. The linked article gets it right, but Xeni’s recap does not.

Oh, pupper, there are easier ways to get beef jerky!
I’m glad he’s safe, and hope he gets adopted soon. I’m sure he will be: the story will sell it. And then he’ll have a nice, cozy home with all the beef jerky he can eat. Well – maybe not all the beef jerky he can eat. Dogs don’t really have an “off” switch when it comes to eating. Another reason I like them: I’m the same way with sushi.
