I was thinking along those lines too; dogs generally being a nose delivery system. It turns out (Google) that Labs have something close to 20/20 vision, so maybe the visual stimulus was enough? Plus… baaaaaaaaaacon

One thing that is not in the instruction manual about how to clean your screen is ‘do not attempt to clean screen by playing videos of frying bacon and getting your labrador to lick it’
