So glad I saw Ms Parton on her farewell tour a year or so ago. She’s a great, great songwriter and if she hasn’t won the Gershwin Prize for it, they missed their calling.
Reading her autobiograpy now and she is also a fine writer and an obviously open-hearted person not afraid of showing her own faults.
What a gift she has been to the world.
